Sail Service was established by Shane Hughes in June 2020.

 

We are the SOLE North Sails Certified Service facility on the island of Ireland.

We offer a range of services primarily based around sail repairs and service but also including, new canvas products and repairs.

​

We also consult on and supply rigging. We source parts only from the best suppliers so we can stand behind all of our projects. We specialise in custom projects so please call us with your specific requirements.

Founder Shane Hughes has spent over 20 years working in the marine industry. For North Sails but also as a successful project & team manager in classes like the Melges 32 and Club Swan 50 and has won World, European and multiple National Championships all over the globe.

Shane has also coached at National and International level and regularly works across the spectrum from teams looking to improve club racing skills all the way up to One Design teams aspiring for major championship titles. Shane is an ISA and RYA registered Race Coach so get in touch to discuss what we can offer you.
